About TechTicle
Independent Technology Journalism

We write for readers who already know what happened — and want to understand what it means.

TechTicle covers artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the economics of global tech from outside the Silicon Valley bubble.

Who We Are

An independent publication for the analytically minded.

TechTicle was built on a simple premise: most technology coverage tells you what happened. Very little of it tells you why it matters, who actually benefits, and what the second-order consequences will be.

Our readers already follow TechCrunch, Ars Technica, and The Verge. They do not need the news explained to them. What they want is analysis — grounded in specific data, written with a clear point of view, and free from the boosterism that dominates too much of tech media.

We write for professionals, analysts, engineers, and intellectually curious people who treat technology as a serious subject — not a lifestyle. That means we hold companies accountable, question incentives, and are not afraid to disagree with the consensus.

"Good technology journalism asks the question that the press release was designed to prevent."

Coverage Areas

What we cover — and why.

Our editorial focus is concentrated in areas where technical depth, economic analysis, and policy intersect. We do not cover everything. We cover the things that matter structurally.

Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure economics, model capabilities, regulatory pressure, and what AI companies are not saying publicly.
Cybersecurity Vulnerabilities, incident response, supply chain risk, and the business consequences of security failures.
Tech Economics Acquisitions, market consolidation, venture dynamics, and who benefits from the stories companies tell investors.
Policy & Regulation Spectrum, antitrust, data governance — how regulatory decisions reshape competitive landscapes in ways that rarely make headlines.
Hardware & Infrastructure Semiconductors, data centers, energy demands, and the physical constraints that determine what is actually possible in AI.
Emerging Technology Quantum computing, space tech, robotics — covering the gap between breakthrough announcements and deployable reality.
Editorial Approach

We have a point of view. We show our work.

TechTicle does not publish neutral aggregation. Every article we publish has a central argument — something specific and defensible that goes beyond summarising events. We believe that a journalist's job is not to hold the scales perfectly level, but to bring genuine analysis to complex stories and be transparent about the reasoning.

This means we ask uncomfortable questions. When a company makes an announcement, we ask who benefits from that framing. When a technology is hyped, we look for the infrastructure limitations, the regulatory risks, and the business model that makes the math work — or does not.

We also believe in specificity over vagueness. Every major claim we make is grounded in data, named entities, or verifiable comparisons. We do not write about "massive growth" without numbers, or "significant risk" without naming it precisely.

The Author

The journalist behind TechTicle.

TechTicle's editorial work is led by Arjun Vedanta, a senior technology journalist and analyst who has spent over a decade covering global technology from multiple vantage points outside Silicon Valley.

Arjun Vedanta
Senior Technology Journalist & Analyst

Arjun covers AI infrastructure, semiconductor geopolitics, cybersecurity, and the economics of big tech. His analytical focus is on the consequences that mainstream coverage underreports — the structural implications, hidden incentives, and second-order effects that only become visible when you look past the press release. Writing from outside the Silicon Valley ecosystem, he consistently examines what US-based reporters miss because they are too close to the story.
